And Many More…

Hello All!

Sorry I haven’t been on here in a while. My birthday is in four days, though, and that is a pretty good thing to blog about. I will be turning 13 on the 10th of May. This is really big for me because I will be a teenager, or, in my opinion, I will be a man. The world has added in-between points into everything. Half-Birthdays, teenagers, pre-teen, middle-aged men, middle-school, junior-high, etc. I think that either someone is a man or a boy and not a pre-teen, teen, etc. So I am counting this birthday as the day I become a man. On menus at restaurants, you can only order a kid’s meal if you are under a certain age. If you are older than that, you have to order an adult meal. There is no teenager meal, or pre-teen, middle-aged, or anything like that. Either you are a child, or an adult. This is just my opinion, though.

                                                                Sincerely,

                                                                                        Carter Cessna

Valentines Day

Today is valentines day. For some reason, this holiday doesn’t really stick out to me as much as others. Today my family and I went to have lunch at a friend of ours’ house. We go to the same church. They made some really good food and were very kind. It was very relaxing compared to the chaos that happened Wed. through Sat. That span of time was a speech and debate turnament/qualifier (If the speaker made it to semi-finals, he/she could go to a major competition in Washington). It was for my brother. He qualified with three speeches: a humorous interpretation, a dramatic interpretation, and a duo interpretation. He made 11th place with the humorous, 5th with the dramatic, and 1st with the duo. Interpretations are short skits or plays usually involving only one person (duo uses a partner), made from a book or novel of some sort. The competitor acts out the novel trying to impress the judges. For my brother’s DI (dramatic interpretation) he did H. G. Wells’ The Invisible Man. For his HI (Humorous) he did a children’s book called Bread and Jam for Frances. Also, for his Duo, he did the book The Scarlet Pimpernel.

Hi y’all

This is Linadan speaking. Although “Linadan” may seem like an odd name, if you know what I got it from you will think I’m a geek. I got my name from the Lord of the Rings books. If you look in the back of the book the Silmarilion, you can make one for yourself and become a geek too. Of course, Linadan is elvish. It means “Music man,” which matches my character very well. This is where Animal comes in. You see, Animal (from the Muppets) plays the drums. I do too (although I play all sorts of other instruments as well). So now you know a little bit about me.

If you look at the website name, you will find it quite odd. “sirchuckles” it reads. This name, excluding the sir, is not my real name even though it may seem that way. My real name is Carter. I am called Chuckles or Chuck as a nickname. Also in among those nicknames is Vern. Strange, huh? I don’t even know where those came from so don’t ask.
